Experts on U.S. Military Strategy and War in Iraq

Iraq war soldier edited.jpgMichael Keane, lecturer of finance at the USC Marshall School of Business, can talk about the war in Iraq, military strategy, and the financial cost of national security measures. Keane has firsthand experience in Iraq, having been embedded in Mosul with the 101st Airborne Division in 2003. He is also a fellow in the U.S. Department of Defense’s National Security Education project and author of The Dictionary of Strategy and Tactics.

Ronald Steel, professor of International Relations at the USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, is an expert on the presidency and U.S. foreign relations. He can address NATO and alliance relations, and the history of diplomacy. His expertise also includes defense and military issues, as well as the relationship between the White House, Congress and the media.

Richard Hrair Dekmejian, professor of political science at the USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, is an expert on politics in the Middle East, including Iraq and Afghanistan.
